1. What are the rules regarding hosting a garage sale?

Garage sales, moving sales, boutique and craft sales are allowed in the City of Ramsey without a permit if:

• Sales last no longer than five (5) days.
• Sales are no more than twice yearly.
• Sales are conducted on the owner’s property. In the case of multiple family sales, it must be located on the property of one of the participants.
• All signs advertising the sale must meet the standards of Ramsey Municipal Code, Section 9.12.
