Spend the morning walking with Minnesota Master Naturalist Educator and Blue Bird Recovery Project Coordinator, Carlyn Erion. This educational excursion will provide a deeper understanding of bluebirds, specifically, about their nesting habitat and how to support and monitor nesting boxes. Bring your questions as we walk and observe the bluebird habitat together.
This walk will cover approximately 1 mile on a paved trail at Rivers’ Bend Park. Please dress for spring rain or sunshine. This event is intended for a teenage and above audience.
If you would like to attend this event, it is recommended you attend the Bluebird Basics event on April 24th.
About Ramsey’s Bluebird Trail The Bluebird Trail in Ramsey was first installed over a decade ago. Overtime, the habitat has changed and the birdhouses have weathered. In 2020, David and Micky Mekosch built and installed the new bluebird nesting boxes and have plans to expand into additional Ramsey parks.
