Welcome Spring in Ramsey’s Parks! Spend the morning hiking with Minnesota Master Naturalist Educator, Carlyn Erion. This educational excursion will provide a deeper understanding of the flora and fauna that can be found in our own backyards. This is an ongoing series to observe the changes as Ramsey transitions from a cold Minnesota winter to a lively and blooming spring. Join for all weeks or just one, and watch as leaves begin to bud, flowers bloom, and hibernating and migrating animals return! Bring your questions as we walk and observe our surroundings together. Cameras, field guides, notebooks, and binoculars are encouraged. This hike will cover a couple of miles on a combination paved trail and boardwalk. Please dress for rain or shine. This event series is intended for teenage and above audiences. Registration is requested as the class is capped at 20 participants.
