The City of Ramsey is seeking individuals to work as temporary Rink Attendants. These individuals maintain the warming houses during the skating season through responsible, safety-minded work as part-time temporary Ice Rink Attendants at Central Park and Ramsey Elementary School.
Weather permitting, the warming houses are expected to open on Friday, December 15, and remain open for approximately 10 weeks. The warming houses are typically open from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. During the holidays, when schools are on winter break, the rinks will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the weekdays, depending on weather conditions.
The 2023 hiring wage is $13.00 to $14.50, depending on qualifications. All candidates must be 16 years of age or older by the Thursday, December 7, 2023, mandatory orientation program. Applications are accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7.
