All of Ramsey gets their drinking water from groundwater, whether through the City’s municipal water supply system or from individual, private wells. Groundwater is found below the earth’s surface in aquifers. Although this is the land of 10,000 lakes, our available groundwater supply is not endless. Both overuse and contamination are threats to long-term availability of groundwater.
