Want to learn more about Minnesota’s state butterfly and the impact they have on the ecosystems in our own backyards? Experts from the Monarch Joint Venture will share amazing facts about the monarch butterfly - from egg to migration, learn how a butterfly gets its wings and completes one of the largest migrations on the planet. Come away with some simple tips of how you can help monarch butterflies at home.
This event is part of a Monarch Pollinator Series. The first session begins with a foundational background on monarch butterflies, the second session will provide starter plants and information to begin your very own monarch pollinator garden, and the third session will teach you how to get involved in citizen science projects!
