Recycle Old Holiday Lights

Christmas Lights

If you've discovered a string of lights that no longer works or have decided it is finally time to upgrade to more energy efficient lights, rather than tossing your old strings of lights in the garbage, you can recycle them for free!

Holiday lights along with electric, telephone and appliance cords can be brought to the Ramsey Municipal Center anytime during regular business hours for recycling. Bins will be available to collect these items during December and January. Again, there is no cost to you and you divert these materials from going to a landfill, a real win-win scenario!

For questions concerning holiday waste, contact City Planner Chris Anderson at 763-433-9817 or canderson@cityoframsey.com.
