Virtual Art: Terra Cotta Sun 2021-03-13T10:00:00Terra Cotta Sun Class
Join us via Zoom for a Terra Cotta Sun project. Make a Mexican clay sun to hang in your garden or brighten up your home. You will be guided step by step by the art instructor to create and paint your sun face. It will then be fired at the Rumriver Art Center. Registration is required, space is limited. The cost is $5 per person. Supplies will be picked up at the Art Center (Suite 103). When completed, projects will need to be dropped off at Rumriver Art Center for firing in our kiln and will be ready for pickup in a couple of weeks. Once the clay projects are ready, participants have 14 days to pick up their projects. After 14 days, we will re purpose any projects that are unclaimed.

Looking for new ways to spend time outdoors, despite Minnesota’s wintery weather? Snowshoeing is a fun and easy way to spend time outside throughout the colder months. It allows you to get off trail and explore new areas, all while getting some low impact exercise. No previous snowshoeing experience is necessary. After just a few minutes of instruction we will make our way out to explore one of Ramsey’s beautiful parks together. Registration is required, space is limited to 15 participants. Cost per person is $3 and includes snowshoes. Youth sizes are available.

Join us with an experienced bird guide for a leisurely hike as we identify and keep a list of all the bird species observed. You’ll get to gain new friends, and improve your knowledge to watch as more bird species return from their winter migrations. Binoculars will be available if you don’t have your own.
