On Tuesday, June 11th, 2019, the Ramsey CityCouncil adopted Resolution #19-135 Approving plans and specificationsand Authorizing advertisement for bids forImprovement Project 19-00, 2019 Crackseal Improvement's. City Staff has developedfinal plans and specifications for use in bidding and constructing thisproject. Bids were published in both the Anoka County Union Herald and Finance andCommerce newspapers on June 14 and June 21st, 2019. For this project,we will be accepting only online electronic bids through Quest CDN.Construction is anticipated to begin in July/August 2019, weather depending, andpending City Council approval of award of contract to the lowest responsiblebidder. Letters will be mailed to all benefitting property owners with detailedinformation about the construction process and schedule, and what to expectduring construction, after the City and the contractor conduct apre-construction meeting.
